Privacy policy
In accordance with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we inform you about the processing of personal data when you visit this website.

2. Server log files
Our hosting provider automatically stores technical data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system) required for the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted after a short time and is not combined with other data. The hosting provider processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
3. Contact form and e-mail
If you write to us via the contact form or by e-mail, your details (name, e-mail, message) are sent via our server and used solely to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). To prevent misuse, your IP address is stored in hashed form for no longer than one hour. No third-party services are used for the form. Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply. We keep your enquiry for as long as needed to deal with it and then delete it, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
4. Cookies and settings
Fonts, images and the videos in the individual sections are loaded from our own server. The website does not use any analytics, profiling or advertising cookies.
On your first visit, a notice informs you about external content (the YouTube video on the home page) and lets you switch it off. Your choice (“Necessary only” or “Accept all”) is stored in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, entry “alpspirit-consent”) and is not sent to us. You can change it at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page; deleting your browser data resets the choice.
4a. YouTube video on the home page
The background video on the home page starts automatically; choosing “Necessary only” switches it off and you see a photo. It is embedded from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When it loads, your IP address and technical browser information are transmitted to Google servers; YouTube may store data in your browser, and a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out (Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in an attractive presentation of the brand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you can object at any time via “Cookie settings” → “Necessary only”. 5. External links
The website contains links to other websites (e.g. the Hofer Group shop). Data is only transmitted when you click a link, in which case the provider’s own privacy policy applies.
6. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) – write to info@alpspirit.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (www.garanteprivacy.it, Art. 77 GDPR). We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
